Choosing a Provider

There are so many med-spas to choose from! So how can you make sure you are choosing the "right one?"

While you are doing your research, here are a few important things to consider:

• What are the provider's credentials? Are they licensed and/or certified to perform the services you want?

• How much experience do they have?

• Where did they receive their training?

• Do they have a professional portfolio (before & after photos)?

• Do they have any client reviews?

Other factors that may influence your decision could include the practice location, the types of services offered, pricing, and/or how flexible the scheduling is. Ultimately, it will be based on your priorities and values!

Once you find an experienced aesthetic provider, it is a good idea to find someone that you really “vibe” with. What does this mean? It means finding someone that makes you feel comfortable! Someone who will listen to your concerns and have your best interest at heart - not someone who just wants to sell you the latest treatment. As you are searching for a provider, keep in mind that you are establishing a relationship.

Finally, when it comes to making your decision, be careful with bargain-shopping. I never recommend spending more than you can comfortably afford, but remember - this is your face. You are not just paying for a product; you are paying for the artistry, expertise and experience of the provider. You are paying for their commitment to ongoing training, their knowledge of anatomy and physiology, their ability to make appropriate clinical decisions for delivering safe and effective treatments, and their ability to manage any complications should they arise.
